Abstraction in Action is a broad and dynamic platform dedicated to the promotion
and research of contemporary abstract art from Latin America since the 1990s
seeking to activate the field and foster new perspectives.

We are thrilled to open our doors to SPACE, Restoration Media and Sayago & Pardon Collection's brand new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Irvine, California. SPACE features over 37,000 square feet spanning over one-acre where art and technology come together. We believe that our collaborative and modern SPACE, will fuel creativity and success from idea inception to execution.

The pieces showcased around SPACE are focused on contemporary abstract art from Latin America since the 1990s, which expand and deconstruct the modernist legacy of the continent. This focus encompasses engaging and challenging aesthetic and conceptual abstract propositions in dialogue with a global context.

This summer, we will present our inaugural exhibition Monochrome Undone, curated by Cecilia Fajardo-Hill, in our gallery spaces, accompanied by the launch of our first book. The monochrome is one of the most elusive and complex art forms of modern and contemporary art and has been part of the inspiration for our new headquarters.
